March 4th was the STAPLE Independent Media Expo in Auustin Texas. A handful of Xeric winners were invited to particpate in a panel discussion answering questions about this mysterious and elusive grant. My STAPLE trip marked the first convention I have ever been an exhibitor, my first panel discussion, and my first car rental experience. It was a blast!
PIMP MY RENTAL CAR! That's right, I arrived on the scene with a Gangster Lean. Alamo hooked up this cartoonist with a Chrylser Pacifica and this was how I rolled in Austin.
Peep the leather interior. This is the hottest whip I've ever had.
Randy Lander suggested Homestead Suites which turned out to be a pretty nice place. It had a small kitchen and two channels with Showtime.
Pre-Party at Austin books. This place was HUGE! I met a lot of people but I was really tired and hungry so I was a little dazed.
